« Adventure Lodge »

Dear Lynne…We had a fantastic time at Adventure Lodge!  We spent hours looking at cabins before deciding to go with yours.  We made the right choice.  The adventure truly began on the way up the mountain.  The views are simply breath taking.  The girls loved the tiny loft upstairs and the game room.  We loved everything.  The location could not have been any more convenient to the National Parks, shopping and shows.  We can't wait to come again.  Thanks so much for providing such an incredible cabin for our vacation. ~ Kim McKinney (kpjpm@aol.com) ~ Deland, Florida ~ March 30 - April 5, 2008

Adventure Lodge is a great cabin.  It's very close to Pigeon Forge and has a wonderful view. Lynne is the best we have ever rented from.  She cares about the cabin and it shows. When we come back, we will stay at Adventure Lodge again. ~ Stan Davey (stan.davey@comcast.net) ~ Brentwood, Tennessee ~ March 19 - 22, 2008

Our stay at Adventure was PERFECT.  If you are looking for a great experience in the Smokies, then you would not have to look any further than Adventure Lodge.  I looked online at hundreds of cabins and for some reason was drawn to Adventure Lodge.  Upon entering the cabin I soon found out why. It was everything I was looking for and more!  It was very comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated. Lynne was fantastic to work with and I would recommend her place to anyone without hesitation.  I can't wait until we can go again!! ~ Nancy Anderson (nancy.anderson12@comcast.net) ~ Germantown, Tennessee ~ March 8 - 10, 2008

Exactly what we needed.  We had our four grand children and found this was very spacious.  The children especially enjoyed the rec room.  The cabin was very nice and clean with spectacular views.  It exceeded our expectations.  We will definitely come again and tell all our friends.  We truly had a wonderful weekend.  Thank you for everything. ~ Loretta York (lorettayork@hotmail.com) ~ Lookout Mountain, Georgia ~ February 16 - 19, 2008

Lynne, I finally made it to stay in your cabin. It definitely was worth going. October is a beautiful time of the year to be in the mountains and see the sea of color with the trees changing. Sitting on the deck early in the morning, sipping a hot tea and watching the sunrise, listening to the creek nearby is priceless. Eating meals on the deck while enjoying the splendor is something you won't get at Four Seasons or anywhere else. The appointments at the cabin were excellent and was a short drive to the parkway. Very convenient but remote. Morning and evening walks were perfect. There were 8 of us and we had plenty of room to do our own thing or be together without being cramped or on top of each other. I look forward to staying again in the not too distant future. Thanks for a wonderful, clean and well appointed place to seek refuge from the everyday pace of my hectic life. ~ Larry Gregory (gregorysvc@hotmail.com) ~ Plainfield, Indiana ~ October 25 - 28, 2007

Hello Lynne, just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at Adventure Lodge, it was a great vacation.  It was one of the nicest lodges we have ever stayed at.  Everything we needed was right there.  We could have stayed there the whole time and never went to town, because there was so much to do.  We would highly recommend this Lodge to anyone that wants a nice place to stay while in the Smokies!!!!  Thanks, Lois & Charles Givens ~ Leitchfield, Kentucky ~ October 19 - 22, 2007

What a wonderful stay at Adventure Lodge.  Lynne was terrific to work with and the cabin was perfect. My husband said, "This far exceeded my expectations!"  Although there were 7 adults and 3 children there was plenty of room for everyone and we never felt we were running into each other.  We are already trying to figure out when we can return.  I was really afraid that it would be a long drive up the mountain to the cabin, but the drive was less than 5 minutes from Pigeon Forge.  Thanks, Lynne.  You are a wonderful hostess! ~ Peggy Creech (peggy.creech@insightbb.com) ~ Bloomington, IN ~ October 11 - 14, 2007

WOW!!!  I thought the virtual tour was nice, but to see the actual cabin was so much better!!! Everything was as promised.  Cozy furniture, comfortable beds, a kitchen with everything, a whole room for the kids to play in and last but definitely not least, the BREATHTAKING VIEW!!!  This was my first trip to the mtns, and now it will be an annual event at the lodge.  Next time I am planning on bringing more of the family.  I want them to experience what my family and I did.  Thanks again for a wonderful "home away from home"!! ~ Wendy Skipworth ~ Bowling Green, Kentucky ~ October 9 - 13, 2007

Lynne...Words cannot express the splendor and breathtaking atmosphere we had at Adventure Lodge. My wife and I have lodged at a number of locations however none compare to the wonderful accommodations at your cabin. We are already considering a return trip and will be in touch at a future date.  Adventure Cabins...A splendor in enchantment. ~ Adrian Mickens ~ Indianapolis, Indiana ~ September 16 - 20, 2007

I have stayed at other rental properties and each time find myself surfing for something better.  It's safe to say that I'll save myself valuable time in the future by staying at Adventure Lodge or any other property owned by Lynne. Yes, the cabin was amazing, clean, well decorated and had everything my 4 daughters and I could ask for.  Yes, the cabin was within minutes of everything (Dollywood, Splash Country, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg).  What I never expected though was to rent one of these from somebody who actually cared about my family and I the way Lynne has.  From the reservation to the friendly phone call after we checked out to make sure we were satisfied.  Lynne actually cared and wanted to be sure that everything was what I expected it to be and truth is that this far exceeded my expectations. Thanks for everything Lynne.  I look forward to staying with you again and won't hesitate telling all of my people about you and your properties.  Warmest Regards ~ Phil and the girls (Brittany, Danille, Chelsea and Megan) (bodocomo@hotmail.com) ~ Windsor, Ontario, Canada ~ August 19 - 26, 2007

The cabin was absolutely wonderful!  The views were awesome.  We took our kids and there was plenty of room and plenty for everyone to do.  The cabin was very clean and we had everything that we needed.  I will definitely stay with you again. ~ nurse.ree@insightbb.com ~ Louisville, Kentucky ~ August 2 - 5, 2007

Adventure Lodge was fantastic. I must have looked at hundreds of cabin rentals on the internet over the past two years and I lucked out finding Adventure Lodge. The location was perfect, perched on top of a mountain with incredible views. If you like five star accommodations and customer service, then Adventure Lodge is the place to go. We loved all the little touches around the cabin that made it feel like home. There were only two of us so we felt like we were in a Palace. We slept in the loft’s master suite and the views when we woke each morning were breathtaking. Lounging in the hot tub at night in the cool mountain air was exhilarating. We were on the road a lot during the day, but we eagerly anticipated our return to Adventure Lodge each evening. As great as Adventure Lodge was, I would have to say the best thing about my experience was corresponding with Lynne. I’ve never seen anyone that cared as much about making sure their customers were completely satisfied. In fact I felt more like a friend than a customer. After we returned home, Lynne called to see how everything went and if we had any suggestions that might help her to make the experience even better. Needless to say we didn’t have any. ~ Don & Rebecca ~ Leesburg, FL (drpack@comcast.net) ~ May 28 - June 1, 2007

There were four adults staying in the cabin and it was perfect.  The views were fantastic, the weather was beautiful and we were close to everything we wanted to do: picnic in the Smokies, hike, Dollywood, and visit friends whose cabin was up the road only 20 minutes away.  We were 5 minutes from Dollywood and in the direction away from the traffic.  It was wonderful.  A grocery store is located just off the turn to Dollywood, on the main drag, so food was not an issue.  We would go back in a heartbeat.  Thank you! ~ Barb and Steve Causseaux (stevecausseaux@yahoo.com) ~ Puyasllup, WA ~ June 20 - 24, 2007

Lynn, My entire family enjoyed our stay at Adventure Lodge.  The cabin and the views were perfect.  The location put us in the middle of everything.  Thanks again and see you next year... ~ Jack Gallo (integratedls@bellsouth.net) ~ Coconut Creek, FL ~ June 1 - 8, 2007

The Adventure Lodge was fabulous. I didn't want to leave it!  We did venture out to see some of the natural beauty and some of the "attractions" of the area. Coming back to the cabin for pool tournaments and air hockey were by far more fun, though!  We especially enjoyed breakfast on the deck and cocktails in the hot tub. This cabin was everything we hoped it would be and then some! ~ Angie Cawa and Tim Groves (timandangie@earthlink.net) ~ Rome, Georgia ~ March 26 - 28, 2007

Our second stay in Adventure Lodge was as great as the first.  The cabin is beautiful and the views are awesome! The beds and furniture are very comfortable.  The area is peaceful.  We loved sitting on the decks and listening to the sounds of nature.  The location is perfect - somewhat secluded but just minutes from everything.  This cabin has it all! Lynne is a pleasure to deal with.  She is very kind and professional.  We highly recommend renting from Lynne!  You won't be disappointed. ~ Mike and Stacy ~ Columbus, Indiana ~ March 18 – 24, 2007

Our time on this recent stay was magnificent. The quality of this cabin exceeded any of my expectations. The Hot Tub and Sauna was the most relaxing of all. We slept like royalty in our soft and plush beds. The kitchen was well stocked and had any thing I forgot like salt & pepper. All cook ware was available. We needed nothing extra for our wonderful meal we prepared in the cabin. We enjoyed the snow as it fell while we relaxed in the hot tub. Then we went inside and warmed up in the sauna. We were so happy that we returned for another stay at Adventure Lodge and are looking forward to our next stay in July for the annual birthday stay for Barry. Lynn, it has been a pleasure talking to you and booking our stay, you made us feel like part of your family. We encourage anybody to stay at Adventure Lodge! ~ Cindy & Barry ~ Jefferson City, TN ~ March 2 – 5, 2007

My husband and I absolutely love your cabin.  The view was unbelievable!  Even though my parents have a cabin in Teleco Village, TN, my husband and I plan on making it a ritual to stay at your cabin at least once a year.  I am going to miss those roosters, for real!   Thank you again. ~ The Westmorelands ~ Englewood, Florida ~ January 2 - 6, 2007

After a very long drive, we were so pleased to be at our cabin. We found the cabin to be spacious, very clean and well stocked. The cabin views were spectacular. My family celebrated Thanksgiving in the Smokey mountains. The weather was perfect for hiking, and of course shopping in Pigeon Forge. I also want to thank Lynn for being so accommodating to our needs. We had a most thankful holiday. ~ S.Harrigan (sharrigan@chsmail.org) ~ Muncie, Indiana ~ November 21 - 26, 2006

The Adventure Lodge cabin was great!!  We stayed 7 nights for our honeymoon.  Everything was perfect.  Lynne was a joy to work with during the whole rental process. Very close to Dollywood and Dixie Stampede, and a very short drive on up to Gatlinburg. Highly recommend this to anyone vacationing in the Smokies!! ~ Trent & Christin Pace (paceytap@yahoo.com) ~ Scottsboro, Alabama ~ November 10 - 17, 2006

Thank you for a much needed get away.  Your cabin was beautiful, clean and comfortable and I looked forward to waking up to the view of the mountains each morning. Lynne, the owner, seemed to truly care about making our stay comfortable and memorable.  Thank you again. ~ Marilyn Jolly (twojollys@casscomm.com) ~ Manito, Illinois ~ October 22 - 28, 2006

My dearest Lynn…Thank you so much for adding special touches to our stay!!  After driving a great distance, your cabin provided us with a much needed relief from the outside world. The amenities were many and when I thought we would have to go to the store to pick up something...I would open a cabinet and there it was!  We truly enjoyed our stay and cannot express the beauty of this cabin.  I highly recommend this cabin for any occasion!!  Thanks so much also for being accessible when we were exhausted and lost our baring on how to get to this cabin. We are so used to flat land that mountainous terrain confused us!!  Yet once there, it was really very simple. Sincerely ~ The entire Pellick Family (SSherryICURN@bellsouth.net) ~ Port Saint Lucie, Florida ~ October 13 – 19, 2006

Your cabin is beautiful and very tastefully decorated.  We went from sauna to hot tub to porch to pool table.  The view is wonderful.  We will be back! ~ Marilyn Newman (meril.n@comcast.net) ~ Hermitage, Tennessee ~ October 19 - 22, 2006

WOW!!  That is the first thing that came to mind when myself and my family entered Adventure Lodge.  It is absolutely beautiful!  The view is outstanding, the decor is awesome, and the little touches mean the world.  We did not want for anything, it was readily available.  Also, the owner Lynne Bever was GREAT to work with.  A truly wonderful get away, we did not have to leave the cabin, it was wonderful!  On a scale of 1-10 I give it an 11!  We have found a place to call home when we travel to Pigeon Forge, TN!!  Thanks Lynne! ~ Joy (joycox185@alltel.net) ~ Elizabethtown, Kentucky ~ October 5 - 8, 2006

The Adventure Lodge was great!!!  It was everything that we imagined it would be.  The cabin was very neat and clean, and the view was absolutely beautiful!!!!  We all had a great time and we will definitely book this cabin again next year. Thank you very much for a great stay in the Smokies....~ The Johnsons and The Taylors (tjohnson716@yahoo.com) ~ Clarksville, Ohio ~ August 6 - 12, 2006

What a magnificent trip!  Words cannot describe the cabin!  The pictures do not do it justice.  We had a fabulous time on our vacation and the cabin was superior. It was just as described and there was not a hitch.  We enjoyed the serenity of the third floor while the kids played in the gameroom.  No one wanted to come home!  We can't wait to return to the Smokies and to the Adventure Lodge!  Lynn - thanks for sharing your paradise with our family.  We will always remember our Smoky Mountain vacation! ~ Robin Perez (randyandrobin@sbcglobal.net) ~ North Richland Hills, Texas ~ July 22 - 29, 2006

What a beautiful cabin!  The view inside the cabin was just as beautiful as the view of the mountains outside.  The cabin is well stocked with linens, towels, toilet paper, paper towels, kitchen wares and dishes.  The kids and adults alike loved the pool table and hot tub.  We had a wonderful vacation in this cabin and will definitely return again. ~ Gayla Wilkerson (wilkerson@salem111.com) ~ Salem, Illinois ~ July 15 -22, 2006

What a wonderful family vacation!  And Adventure Lodge was a big part of it.  The kids thought this was the coolest place ever.  They couldn't wait to get home in the evenings.  I loved the beautiful view and the peaceful atmosphere.  Thanks for sharing your cabin with us. ~ Cliff & Kim ~ Rayville, Louisiana ~ July 3 - 9, 2006

Lynne - We really enjoyed our stay in Adventure Lodge, and we look forward to returning in the future.  The cabin is beautiful, and we found everything we needed when we arrived.  Our children really loved the porch swings, air hockey table, and hot tub.  There was plenty of entertainment for us here, as well as ample room for relaxation.  Once again, we look forward to returning here as a family very soon.  Left you a blessing & pen. ~ The Ruth Family ~ Douglasville, Pennsylvania ~ The Whatley Family ~ Pell City, Alabama ~ The Ponder Family ~ Southside, Alabama ~ The Bagwell Family ~ Jackson, Tennessee ~ June 30 - July 3, 2006

Wow!  What a wonderful vacation in this lovely cabin.  The view is just unbelievable.  This cabin is everything and more that Lynne says it is...luxury in every way.  And that wake up call from the roosters just fits the setting from the mountains.  I can't wait to see the view from this cabin in the Fall.  Thanks so much for a wonderful place to vacation.  ~ Jo Ellen Garrett (candjg2@hotmail.com) ~ Bolivar, Tennessee ~ June 27 - 30, 2006

We have all enjoyed our time at the Beautiful Adventure Lodge.  What an unforgettable cottage and view of the mountains.  After long busy days, it was nice to come back to each evening a home away from home and more.  My daughter, Laura, loves the swing on all the porches.  My son, David, and nephew, Joe, love the big screen TV and pool table.  I have enjoyed the view of the mountains and watching the beautiful sunsets.  We are so blessed to have this wonderful trip. ~ Bob, Darlene, David, & Laura ~ Sylvania, Ohio ~ Don & Joe ~ East Pointe, Michigan ~ June 19 - 24, 2006

This cabin is absolutely fabulous!! We had a great time.  The cabin was away from the bustle of the city, yet was close enough to enjoy an evening of fun.  There was plenty of fun here as well.  The game room was a wonderful retreat after a busy day on the town.  The hot tub was also a bonus, especially after a day of horseback riding!  Thank you so much for the information and wonderful hospitality.  I'm sure we will return again!! ~ Mike, Michelle, Scott, & Michelle ~ York, Pennsylvania ~ June 13 - 18, 2006

Lynne - Thank you for an incredible vacation experience!!  Adventure Lodge is an amazing retreat - we all had an incredible time here!!  The cabin's amenities were like a home away from home - we never lacked anything that we needed.  The game room was a constant source of entertainment for our boys!!  Your hospitality - from booking the reservations, directions, & follow-up is unsurpassed. ~ Darrell & Tammy ~ Clermont, Florida ~ June 3 - 10, 2006

Two 16-year-olds never got bored in this cabin.  It's in a beautiful location with various activities.  But after a busy day, it was nice to be able to eat and snack without having to get out.  Our vacation was both fun and relaxing.  They're nothing like the cabins we vacationed in when we were young.  This is so much better!!  Am sure glad we found this.   ~ Sandy & Time ~ Kansas City, Missouri ~ May 28 - June 2, 2006

"Paradise Found" We just got home from our wonderful week at Adventure Lodge. Spring had Sprung in the mountains and we had the perfect venue from which to enjoy it. The views are fabulous, the furnishings were so comfortable and upscale, the beds are like clouds and Lynne has stocked the cabin with everything you could possibly need or want. There were only 4 of us there but what a place for a "Family Reunion". Plenty of sleeping space and floor space. You could have your family and privacy too! It is easy to get to and plenty of FLAT parking..a real plus in my book. We have stayed at so many different places in the Smokies but we have truly found our "Home in the Mountains"!!! Lynne, you should be so proud of what you have done with your Chalet.  It is a perfect place to unwind, listen to the mountains, the Steam Train at Dollywood can just be heard in the distance..so cool, and our little feathered alarm clocks, the Roosters!! Thank you so much for providing the only place we will ever stay from now on. For the money, you really can't beat the Adventure Lodge. Feel free to Email us if you want to ask any questions. Thanks again Lynne!!! ~ Jeff & Bonnie Parker (searayjeff@earthlink.net) ~ Orlando, Florida ~ April 29 - May 6, 2006

ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING!  We called to book Adventure Lodge at the last minute and to our good fortune it was available. The pictures on the internet do not even do justice to the beauty of this cabin.  The moment we walked in the door we were taken back by the beautiful view, the rich decor, and how clean everything was.  Lynne emailed us directions and a contact number if we should need anything during our stay.  When we arrived home we even had a thank you note. When is the last time a hotel sent a thank you note?  Our teenagers lived on the bottom floor and were not even bored thanks to the sauna, pool table, air hockey, big screen tv, and the hot tub.  The view from every floor is incredible, but our favorite was the loft.  Our boys wanted the loft but we won out and were awakened every morning to a beautiful view even if it was cloudy.  Oh! and how can we forget the morning wake up call from the roosters.  We were even able to view a thunder storm one morning and it was beautiful to watch the thunder bolts crack and the clouds change over the mountain tops.  A week was not long enough to stay.  We have rented cabins and condos before, but this was by far the most beautiful and most memorable place we have stayed.  We definitely hope to return and rent Adventure Lodge again. ~ Jeff & Annette Ferrell (jkb3fs@aol.com) ~ Sandusky, Ohio ~ April 17 - 22, 2006

Our stay at Adventure Lodge was wonderful. Lynne made the reservation process simple and reliable. The cabin is more amazing than the pictures show. The amenities are first class, the decor is clean and perfect, the location ideal and the view takes your breath away. The kids had a great time, we truly hated to leave. I can't imagine a nicer cabin in the area. Highly recommended. Can't wait to go back. ~ Geoff Campbell (geoffdogdoc@aol.com) ~ Virginia Beach, Virginia ~ April 7 - 11, 2006

We had a great time here.  The cabin was the best part of the vacation.  We couldn't wait to come back and enjoy the comfort of the cabin in the mountains!  We toured the Smokey Mt. National Park, which was fabulous, but soon realized our view from the cabin deck(s) was one of the best!  The sound of the train from Dollywood was also very soothing.  We will highly recommend this cabin to friends and family.  Thanks Lynne! ~ Mike and Suzanne ~ Chanhassen, Minnesota ~ April 1 - 7, 2006

We had a wonderful time at Lynne's cabin. The cabin was beautiful. The kids LOVED the pool table and air hockey. Lynne was great to work with and provided great information on the area. Adventure Lodge is the perfect getaway! A week was not long enough!  This was one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever had.  The cabin was beautiful.  It was very clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated.  We also loved the area.  It was very peaceful and the mountain views were awesome.  One of our favorite things was evenings in the hot tub.  The weather wasn't great most of the time that we were there, but it didn't even matter.  It was just great being there.  Lynne was wonderful to deal with.  She was very friendly and professional.  We definitely plan to visit again. Lynne...Your incredible cabin is just what the words means.  Beautiful, peaceful, clean to the max and most the accommodating place I have found in the Smokey Mountains.  The view from the cabin during sunrise is outrageous and with the fog between the mountains makes you feel like you are in an endless mission with nature, every time you move your head in a different direction there is scenery more beautiful than the previous one.  The whole family enjoyed the Christmas Vacation at your cabin and yes!!!.  THANK YOU for your efforts to make sure we had a Christmas tree during the holidays. Oh!!!  Let me not forget that we had a great time watching the ball come down at the end of the year at Gatlinburg, it was a big mountain party all over town.  We are looking forward to going back to your cabin soon.  Thanks Again! ~ Paul & Sandra Matos (paulmatos@yahoo.com) ~ Miami, Florida ~ December 22, 2005 - January 3, 2006

Adventure Lodge was the most beautiful cabin we have ever stayed in. We have rented many cabins in the Pigeon Forge area over the past 20 years, but your cabin out does them all by FAR!  It was the cleanest, most well appointed cabin I have ever been in. I usually walk in a place and start re-cleaning, but not your place, it was spotless and this was a first for me. Your cabin is like being in a 5 star Hotel or a resort with all the comforts of home. The accessories, the furniture, the linens, the big screen, the sauna, swings on every level not to mention the unbelievable view.  Your cabin is near others but yet it is very private.  We woke up to owls hooting one morning.  I love it...wildlife!  If you listen you can hear the Dollywood train in the distance. We spent the week of Thanksgiving in your cabin and woke up to snow on the mountains one morning. It was so breathtaking. Thank you so much. My teenage son wants to come back every two months. I hope we can afford it.  :-)  This is the best place from the beach to the mountains that our family has ever stayed. I would love for anyone to contact us for a reference (baggettdawg@aol.com). ~ The Baggett's Of Buford GA...Go Dawgs!!! ~ November 22 - November 27, 2005

We took a small group of older high school students for a get away weekend focusing on leadership.  The youth loved the cabin!  We did not leave the cabin once all weekend and it was fine!  We loved the layout of the floors and decks.  It was great to have the pool table, air hockey, board games, hot tub, and big screen TV.  We had a wonderful weekend enjoying the cabin! ~ Billy Fly ~ Powell, Tennessee ~ October 7 - October 9, 2005

Wow - what a beautiful view of the Smokey Mountains from just one of the decks of this awesome cabin. What a beautiful country we live in. This is truly the closest to heaven we can possibly get. We did lots of eating...shopping...eating... and shopping some more. We enjoyed touring the town of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the National Smokey Mountain Park and other areas as well. We can't thank you enough for sharing your cabin with us and others. We truly will never forget our wonderful stay at Adventure Lodge and certainly will tell our family and friends..that this is the ONLY place to stay. The cabin is magnificent!  We had a great time enjoying every room of the cabin from the game room to the Jacuzzi and especially the view from each deck.  To have the mountains as your backdrop in pictures is the true definition of a picture is worth 1000 words...Beautiful..Thank you for such a wonderful get-a-way! ~ Shonda ~ Louisville, Kentucky ~ August 12 - 14, 2005

Our stay at Adventure Lodge Cabin was wonderful. The cabin is beautifully decorated, perfectly located and plentifully supplied with things to do. From the pool table, air hockey table, board games, and puzzles to the hot tub and swings on the deck we never ran out of things to do while at the cabin. Of course there is much to do in the area, but we were delighted to have such a great place to come back to each day. It rained one day while we were there so we spent most of that day at the cabin and enjoyed every minute. This is no small thing since we have a large family (9 children of various ages!) This cabin is perfect for a couple or a large family. We highly recommend it! ~ The Singleton Family ~ Little Rock, Arkansas ~ May 13 - 20, 2005

Adventure Lodge is an exquisite place to stay while visiting the Smokey Mtn. area. While being nestled in a private retreat you are so convenient to basically everything that there is to do in the area. The decor was delightful and the cabin was in immaculate condition (and I am unusually picky). A visit to the cabin in itself makes for a wonderful vacation. Thank you so very much for sharing Adventure Lodge with us! Wow!  We could not have found a more perfect place to spend our honeymoon.  The cabin was amazing!  We especially enjoyed the beautiful lights at night.  After spending months & months planning a wedding, Adventure Lodge was the perfect place to unwind & "de-stress".  The entire time we were here we kept saying to each other, "Oh my gosh!  This is amazing!  We are definitely coming back!"  Thank you so much for having such a wonderful cabin!  Our honeymoon couldn't have been better! ~ Mr. & Mrs. E. Adventure Lodge - What an adventure it has been.  From exploring the cabin, to the scenic views, not to mention the lady bugs and scorpion in the sink.  We have truly had a great time.  This cabin is the perfect getaway for a family.  It felt like home away from home.  We are already planning our next adventure - and this is where we want to be.  Thanks for letting us share our memories here!  We can't wait to visit again. ~ Tommy, Kimberly, Noah, and Chloe ~ Enterprise, Mississippi ~ March 19 - 26, 2005

This is our first adventure in your lodge & we just love it!  After staying in other places around the area over the years, we have yet to find a place that can match the Adventure Lodge.  All of the amenities are here – views, room to enjoy, game room, beautiful decorating, games to play – always a treat to bring the four kids to a place that they love and create a lasting impression, a "vacation" they will treasure and so will we.  Thanks for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home! ~ Ralph, Peggy, Lauren, Kristen, Brian & Carly ~ Cincinnati, Ohio ~ November 5 - 6, 2004

After coming to the Smokies for many years, we have found the most beautiful place to stay!  From the moment we drove in, to the minute we left, it has been wonderful.  Lynne, your cabin is perfect in every way, from your fabulous furniture selections, to your touches of accents throughout that give Adventure Lodge that classy, upscale look.  We enjoyed every room and every deck.  Had our cocktails at sunset on the front porch, dinners at night on the back.  The views from all angles are breathtaking.  Thank you for letting us share in all this beauty.  If you ever come to Florida, look us up.  You have a place to stay anytime.  We will be back… ~ Richard & Sharon ~ Pembroke Pines, Florida ~ October 25 – 29, 2004

Lynne…Thanks so much.  My husband and I enjoyed our weekend so very much.   I would like to use this guestbook to highly recommend your beautiful cabin to others.  I think your web site, pictures, and all of the other comments speak for themselves.  I was so impressed with the way you handled our reservations.  You were both professional and caring.  It is evident that you treat each guest as you would treat your personal family and friends.  If you are looking for a beautiful cabin, easy access, outstanding view, then look no further.  You have found your cabin.  Thanks again. ~ Patsy & Jackie Goodson (patsygoodson@yahoo.com) ~ Rainbow City, Alabama ~ April 17- 20, 2008

My husband and I recently stayed at the cabin and had a wonderful time!  At first, I was apprehensive that he would not like the location, but he loved it!!  In fact, we did not want to leave.  The cabin was clean, spacious, with great views.  We played games and took in some of the tours.  We're looking forward to the Spring when we will return with our in laws. ~ Ana Bell (brsinc@cfl.rr.com) ~ Orlando, Florida ~ November 8 - 11, 2007

Hi Lynne...just a short note to let you know we really enjoyed our stay at Cedar Lodge.  Thanks for the CD... I will be happy to recommend your place to anyone interested in going to the Smokies to vacation.  We appreciated the cleanliness and amenities of your home.   We have stayed in quite a few similar locations over our years of visiting the area and found your place to be the best.  We also liked the location....close in to the Parkway....and the paved roads on the way up.....and not many places have street lights to guide the way up.  Starr Crest did a nice job of planning this area.  The only complaint was that the week flew by too quickly.  Thanks again for the use of your home....we did feel " at home " there. ~ Ken Malak (nekalam@wowway.com) ~ Glendale Heights, Illinois ~ October 20 - 27, 2007

Dear Lynne…My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Cedar Lodge.  The view was BREATHTAKING.  When we arrived and opened the door, my kids ran everywhere looking around.  When they went downstairs and saw the pool table and air hockey table, I think they lived there all week.  Lynne, it was so nice to sit and enjoy the beautiful view from any of the three porches.  The cabin was very well equipped with anything you would need, except your food. We go to the beach every year but decided to come to the Mts this year instead.  WE WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR! and bring more of my family, and for anyone wanting a vacation to remember with their families, this is the place to stay.  Thanks for everything!  ~ Gail & Kelly Kennedy ~ Liberty, North Carolina ~ August 13 - 19, 2007

Our family has stayed in many cabins and condos over the years, and this was one of the nicest.  The furnishings are unsurpassed and the kitchen included every appliance and gadget needed.  The hot tub, pool table, sauna, TV and electronics were first rate.  There were even cards and games at the cabin for the family to enjoy.  The drive to Dollywood took less than 5 minutes and it only took 8 or so minutes to get to the parkway. The owner obviously takes great care in setting up this cabin for people to enjoy. Thanks Lynne. ~ Rich ~ Athens, Alabama ~ July 28 - August 1, 2007

My husband is from Seymour, TN and we've taken trips to visit his family many times over the years.  We thought that this year we would bring my family along, too, and be a little more touristy.  The cabin was great!  It was so nice to come back to at the end of the day and it was SO MUCH nicer then sleeping on couches and guest beds.  We will be making this an annual family trip.  What a fantastic way to get to spend time with both our families.  Thank you.  Your attention to detail was wonderful and very appreciated. ~ Kara Russell ~ Goldsboro, North Carolina ~ June 8 - 11, 2007

We have been making annual trips to Pigeon Forge for many years now, and this was by far the best cabin experience we've had.  The cabin was very well equipped, beds were comfortable (something you don't always get), and we loved the game room with sauna.  A big selling point for us was the kid's playground which came in handy. The cabin also was very close to all the action, but still in the mountains.  I also love the fact that you get to deal directly with the owner instead of a rental company.  Thanks Lynne for a wonderful stay, we'll definitely be back. ~ Russell & Jennifer Gregory (russnjen99@msn.com) ~ London, Kentucky ~ June 25 - 28, 2007

Dear Lynne, I have always seen these kind of places on the travel channel, but never dreamed I would ever get the opportunity in my lifetime to stay in one, and what perfect timing it all happened, MY HONEYMOON!!!  It was absolutely breathtaking!!  We enjoyed all the amenities you had to offer such as the spa, hot tub, and the jacuzzi tub. The beds were very comfortable, and we also enjoyed playing the game tables as we waited for our steaks to get done on the grill.  When we first got there, I was walking through and I just kept saying, "Oh my God"  I shed some happy tears and dropped down on the big swing on the porch and took a deep breath of fresh air.  Thanks for your hospitality and the "congratulations cake" was very good.  We look forward to coming back, and have already shared the experience with many friends.  Sincerely, Lisa & Steve Robinson (lborden4@cfl.rr.com) ~ Altamonte Springs, Florida ~ March 10 - 13, 2007

Lynne, I just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our second stay in Cedar Lodge.  The cabin was just as wonderful as we remembered.  It is so clean and roomy we feel like we are at home.  My son Andrew asked if we can stay in it every time we come.  I love the location.  We are just minutes from everything and the mountain view from the cabin is spectacular.  We had snow for the second year in a row.  Thanks again for making our stay such a memorable one.  I know we will be back next year. ~ Pam Collins (wbpcollins1@alltel.net)  ~ Kathleen, Georgia ~ February 15 - 19, 2007

Dear Lynne…Our recent stay in Cedar Lodge was great!  Thanksgiving week was a very crowded week in Pigeon Forge, but the cabin is far enough away from the "strip" to have a calm weekend overlooking the mountains for some and close enough to the shopping for others.  We all had a marvelous time.  The large screen TV got a workout for the football games.  Thanks for a great weekend. ~ Carolyn ~ Peachtree City, Georgia ~ November 24 - 27, 2006

Lynne…We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cedar Lodge.  Your cabin is fantastic.  I was really impressed with how well the kitchen is stocked with all the necessary items.   We didn't lack for anything.  My kids (11 & 13) had fun in the basement playing pool and air hockey.  My husband and I loved the view of the fall colors from the balcony.  We also took your recommendations for restaurants and ate at The Old Mill (worth the wait) and The Chop House.  Yum! We had a great time and took many beautiful pictures.  Thanks! ~ Nancy Blomquist (nblomq@earthlink.net) ~ Peachtree City, Georgia ~ October 19 – 23, 2006

Lynne, we had a second year at the cabin that topped the first. We enjoyed every minute at the cabin and want to thank you for the best accommodations we have ever had. The cabin was close to Dollywood (down the street) and was so clean once again. All 10 of us had a great time!  The hot tub was great!  We tried to find a better place to go this year but had to come back because we could not match the value and fun we had. Thanks again for providing us a great vacation. Both the Radlick and Arcangeli families thank you. ~ Jon Radlick (radlick@netzero.com) ~ Macomb, Michigan ~ August 10 - 14, 2006

Our recent stay at Cedar Lodge was wonderful! There is so much to do in the area, we were busy every day. We enjoyed hiking the Appalachian Trail, visiting the Cherokee Indian Reservation, seeing bear cubs and their mama as well as deer and other wild life in Cades Cove, white water rafting in the Pigeon River, horseback riding in the mountains, riding roller coasters in Dollywood, and climbing to the 3rd highest point on the east coast called Clingman’s Dome. With all that activity, it was great to relax and take in the view on the balcony when we returned to Cedar Lodge each evening. The boys loved playing pool and air hockey. My mom loved reading in the rocking chair on the balcony. My husband took in a few games and movies on the huge TV in the game room. I loved sitting in the swing bench and taking in the view. The spa was a perfect way to relax after the hike to Clingman’s Dome. Cedar Lodge has all the amenities of home. We made pancakes on the griddle each morning, used the grill most evenings, and enjoyed eating outside on the big picnic table overlooking the mountains. The bathrooms are modern and clean, the beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows. Cedar Lodge redefines the term “log cabin”. ~ Debbie Causey ~ Davie, Florida ~ July 22 – 29, 2006

Lynne, the cabin was absolutely fabulous!  The furnishings are beautiful and way above comfortable!  The view was so perfect, and we so enjoyed the balconies/decks, especially early in the AM and in the evening after mostly long days of touring and hiking.  We have stayed in other cabins, but this was so different and so inviting.  Thank you for the home away from home!  Our family enjoyed the stay so much.  When they pulled up in their own driveway, our twin grandbabies said no mommy’s house – mountains!!!!  Really, it was wonderful and we have already been sending pictures and raves to our friends and relatives.  Thank you Lynne.  ~ The Browns (tinkroe@aol.com) ~ Summerfield, Florida ~ July 16 – 22, 2006

I was stunned at how wonderful your cabin is. It is absolutely beautiful and extremely well kept. I have stayed at cabins before and have always found problems with things but was amazed with Cedar lodge. We had a great time and loved the view. When we come back next year or the year after, you will hear from us because we would love to stay with you again. I have already been telling all my friends and family and also some people I have met (like my dentist) about your website and highly recommended you. Thanks for all the detail in excellence. Our stay at Cedar Lodge was the greatest. We were high on a mountain looking at some of the most beautiful mountain views and a peak of Pigeon Forge and Sevierville... yet we were far away from all the hoopla... We so enjoyed all the views from inside the house and its 3 floors and from the outside on all 3 porches. The pool table and air hockey added a lot of fun. We enjoyed the hot tub and being able to hear our music out on the porch. Even though the cabin lists only 2 bedrooms there is plenty of room in the lower level for the queen sofa, or Lynn also has an air mattress that is quite convenient and comfortable. There is so much space... lots of privacy if needed... especially the Jacuzzi with a view in the top level. We loved hearing the lonesome sound of the Dollywood train as it made its rounds each day. There are lots of stores to shop in and places to eat, but we so enjoyed our vacation home and cooked out on the charcoal grill every night of our 7 except for 2. Breakfast at the Apple Barn, lunch at the Old Mill, lunch at the Bear Grill in Townsend... it was all great. If you are a nature lover, be sure to find all the back roads... there are many... drive into Gatlinburg and check out the nature loop above which goes into the Smokey Mtns. Also, take in Cades Cove... we saw lots of deer, beautiful scenery and a bear! The drive out there is great. Our stay at Cedar Lodge will be a memorable one and if we return to the area we will stay here again.  ~ Sue D. Johnson (suedavisjohnson@yahoo.com) ~ Mount Airy, North Carolina ~ July 1 - 9, 2006

We stayed at Cedar Lodge in April and fell in love with the place.  It is truly a luxury log cabin with beautiful furnishings and decor.  We had everything we needed.  Our young children loved the hot tub and the air hockey game. They also liked the playground that is located in the community.  We liked the pool table and large TV's for movies in the evenings.  The view off of each of the three decks is great. We stayed at the Cabin in April 2005.  The Cabin exceeded all of our expectations.  I shared the Cabin with another couple.  There was more than enough room for everyone.  We had two 17 year old, 6 foot teenagers with us. They never left the game room.  Their friends had to beg them to come ride go-carts in town.  When we returned home we discovered we had left a movie in the DVD player.  The owner had it mailed back to us within two days.  We will definitely stay again.  Great time was had by all!!!!!! ~ Terri Tate ~ Columbia, Tennessee ~ April 29 - May 1, 2005
